The short version: no accounts, no logins, no trackers. The only personal
information held is an email address, and only if you type one into the alerts form yourself.
It is never sold.
What is collected
Your email address — only if you submit it, and only to send you the
subcontracting alerts you asked for.
Your NAICS codes and states — if you enter them. Used to decide which
awards are relevant to you, and to tell us which coverage people actually want.
Your SAM.gov expiry date — only if you ask for
renewal alerts, and only to work out when to warn you. It is a date
you typed in, not something read from SAM.gov: we hold no API access to your entity record and
never see your UEI unless you choose to send it. If you use the
dashboard instead, the date stays in your own browser and never
reaches us at all.
Standard server logs — our host records requests (IP address, page, time,
browser) automatically, as every web server does. Not used to profile you.
What is not collected
No accounts, no passwords.
No advertising trackers, no third-party analytics pixels, no cross-site tracking.
No payment details — nothing is sold on this site today.
Nothing about you is bought from anyone else or appended to what you give us.
Who it is shared with
Nobody, other than the services needed to run this:
Vercel — hosting and server logs.
An email delivery provider — stores the list so alerts can be sent and
unsubscribes honoured. For renewal alerts this is Google (Sheets and Gmail), which holds your
address and expiry date so the warnings can be sent on the right days.
Your information is never sold, rented, or traded.
The award data is not personal data
Everything shown about contracts — the prime contractor, the amount, the agency, the NAICS
code, the place of performance, and the prime's registered business address — comes from
USASpending.gov, the US government's own public record of federal spending. That is company and
contract information.
We do not look up, buy, infer, or publish anyone's personal contact details.
Where the service points you toward a role to contact, it names a job title — the Small Business
Liaison Officer — not an individual's email or phone number.
Email
Every alert carries a one-click unsubscribe, and unsubscribing removes you from the list. We
only email about SubSignal. We never send email on anyone else's behalf, and nobody else may
email this list.
Deleting your data
Email the address below and ask. Your address and any codes tied to it are deleted. No hoops.
Children
This is a business tool, not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect
information from them.
